Flow Software is thrilled to announce it has engaged Marshall Hughes of Freight Companies Australia (FCA) to help grow its Australian operations, supporting the logistics and distribution market.
With Flow Software’s strong expertise in developing integration technology for logistics customers over the last 18 years, and Hughes’ 25 years of experience in logistics technology consulting, it was a natural fit.
Flow Software’s growth in the logistics industry comes off the back of an already strong customer base in Australia of over 150 customers, with 6 in logistics and growing. Flow has a strong reputation in the New Zealand logistics market already, boasting customers such as Kotahi, Fliway, Coda Group, Mondiale, Move Logistics and Big Chill Refrigeration. Working with these industry leaders has allowed Flow Software to deliver software and solutions that meet the needs of the logistics and distribution market, particularly around compliance, automation of orders for pick pack and dispatch, time and cost tracking and efficiencies. Unleashing this experience and knowledge to empower Australian logistics businesses was a logical next step.
Hughes says he sees Flow Software as leaders for integration and EDI solutions in the logistics industry. “As logistics companies introduce smarter technology solutions, the ability for systems and businesses to talk to one another becomes critical. I’ve seen companies resorting to using Excel, rekeying data or bespoke solutions, then learned about Flow and reaped the rewards of what Flow delivers”

Masters said “We were introduced to Marshall by NZTE, and the relationship has developed from there. NZTE has been instrumental in our growth plans and this is one example of that”.
